Overview
We are seeking a Deburrer/Assembly Operative for our Nasmyth Bulwell operation based at Wharf Road Industrial Estate, Pinxton, Notinghamshire, NG16 6LE, responsible for the flow of product through the business for assembly manufacture, deburring of product to ensure parts are of the standard expected prior to inspection to allow fluidity of flow of machined parts.
Hours
Monday to Friday
37.5 hour week
Responsibilities
- To deburr parts to the standard of the Internal and External customers quality standards meeting all drawing specifications
- To work to completion of carrying out deburring duties as defined by the Route card maintaining tight schedules to ensure duties are within cost parameters of the deburring requirement as set by the area lead and engineering
Knowledge and Experience
- Understanding of engineering drawings and standards
- Experience of deburring in a manufacturing department utilising deburring tools on materials such as Aluminium, Stainless and Nimonic materials
- Willingness to learn additional skills and progress within the business.
- Previous experience within an Aerospace or similar business
- Use of power tools and hand tools for deburring of company portfolio products
- Desire to learn and improve current methods of deburring of products
